Privacy Policy
PS Controller is built so that almost nothing about you leaves your devices. This policy explains exactly what the phone app and the PC receiver app do.
No account, no profile
PS Controller does not require an account. There is no sign-up, no email verification and no profile stored on a server. Nothing in the app is tied to an identity we hold.
Gameplay inputs stay on your network
When you press a button, that input is sent from your phone to the receiver address you entered — a device on your own local network. Inputs are not routed through our servers, are not logged, and are not stored. When the receiver app is closed, nothing is being transmitted.
What the apps store on your devices
- Button mapping profiles you create, saved locally on your phone.
- Haptics, deadzone and layout preferences you set in the Tuning screen.
- The receiver address you last used, so you do not have to retype it.
What we do not collect
- No advertising identifiers and no third-party ad SDKs.
- No behavioural analytics or session recording.
- No access to your camera, microphone, contacts or photos.
- No keys or passwords you type on the PC — the app sends controller events only.
Network permissions
The phone app asks for local network access because that is the whole point of the product: it has to reach your PC. This permission is used only to connect to the address you enter, and you can revoke it in iOS Settings at any time.
Children
The app is a general-purpose input tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, because there is no collection pipeline to begin with.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts collecting something new, this page is updated before that version ships, and the change is described in plain language.
